High Plains received the Award of Honor for both their fabrication and erection divisions from the American Institute of Steel Construction for achieving no recordable injuries in 2023.

Difficult projects are where High Plains excels and working with our customers and their customers to ensure that all projects meet and exceed the customer expectations is what we strive to do on every project. We don’t often get public recognition for these efforts, but we are honored to receive W.E. O’Neil’s award for Subcontractor Who Best Represented Our Brand Promise “Empowering Our Client”.
SEAA – CRAFT TRAINING AWARD – World Class Recognition – 2020
High Plains was honored to receive the Craft Training Award – World Class Recognition from the Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) in 2020. High Plains qualified for this award by providing over 1,100 craft training hours in the prior year which included 88 training certificates. Additionally, the NCCER Apprentice of the Year Awards, level one and two, were both won by High Plains ironworkers!
SEAA – SAFETY EXCELLENCE AWARD – Gold Recognition – 2020
High Plains continued to boast our safety record in 2020 by celebrating three years with no lost time injuries in the Erection Division! In recognition for our safety record we were honored to receive the Safety Excellence Award – Gold Recognition from the Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) in 2020.
BEST SUBCONTRACTOR ADMINISTRATION – Subcontractor Awards 2020, W.E. O’Neil 2020
High Plains has focused their efforts on streamlining the administration and management of all of their steel projects in an effort to not only improve our performance, but to also ensure that we meet our brand commitment of A Quality Product, On Time; while also making our customers’ jobs as easy as possible.
